I love daily planners and I’ve especially come to love the Erin Condren Life Planner (this is my referral link – sign up for their newsletter via this link and receive $10 off). Her Life Planners help me stay sane and organized. I am also a very visual person, so I love all of the planner accessories as well as other personalized items that you can buy.

I’m going to show you a few of the planner accessories that I’m using in my Life Planner. All of them can be found on the Erin Condren website.

Planner Accessories
The first planner accessory I want to show you is the Carry-All Clutch. This soft, neoprene carrying case is available in any pattern on the EC website. I chose a grey background with white damask design because I’m all about grey right now. I also had my initials included on the lower right corner.

The carry-all clutch is large enough to protect your EC Life Planner in addition to pens and a few other accessories. Because the fabric is a bit stretchy, you can really fill this baby up. Also, you don’t have to use it for your daily planner. You could keep an iPad or other tablet inside, bullet journals, notebooks, or other flat objects that need protection.
The next planner accessories I want to show you help you use the EC planner.
These magnetic page markers are double-sided and make finding and flagging pages very easy. The entire page marker is a magnet so it will hold a good amount of pages inside. I like to use these to mark the weekly spread that I’m currently working with. I also use them to flag my notes section and the year-at-a-glance section.

Planner Pockets
Next are the Stylish Storage Pockets. These come in a three pack. I have the Metallic Edition pictured below, meaning that graphic elements on the folder come embossed with metallic foil accents. These pockets keep loose papers, photos, and notes handy. They need Coil-Clip Connectors (not pictured) to attach onto the spiral binding of the life planner. I wish these already had the spiral attachment added to them. I’d rather save my Coil-Clips for keeping track of invitations, doctors’ appointment cards, and the like.

I am LOVING these StylizedSticky Corner Pockets because they are so versatile. They are made of a flexible plastic and have sticky all along the right angle. You just stick them to any corner and they will hold small papers and mementos. They are surprisingly strong and come in a variety of colors. I think these are my new favorite planner accessories.

Planner Stickers
Next up on our planner accessories overview, planner stickers! There is nothing more fun than decorating your planner with planner stickers, IMO! The first picture is a sticker bundle purchased from EC. These bundles change often. If you sign up for the newsletter (and the $10 coupon) you’ll be notified when these different bundles are available. The ones below come embossed with metallic foil and have a variety of stickers and reminders.

The Erin Condren planner stickers pictured below come in individual sheets. Each sheet will decorate one weekly spread, or you could use them sparingly and stretch it out a little more. These sticker sheets come in different designs. So if you wanted all of the stickers inside of your planner to match the graphic cover you’ve chose on the outside, you could do that!

Now let’s look at the Sticky Notes. These are similar to post-it notes. One side is sticky and can be placed on regular paper and then peeled back up without leaving a mark. These sticky notes are great for adding last minute appointments to your weekly spread. I like to use them to mark tentative appointments, that way I don’t end up erasing or marking things out if that appointment gets cancelled.
The sticky notes are attached to a hard plastic backing and can be snapped onto the spine of the Life Planner.

Planner Pens
Finally, what list of planner accessories would be complete without planner pens? I’ve already raved about the Staedtler Fineliner pens in previous posts (pictured right). These are THE BEST planner pens in my opinion because they do not bleed, have a nice thin line, and come in a TON of colors. Below I’ve pictured a set of ten but they also come in sets of 36, obviously with more color choices.
I’m also liking the Erin Condren Fine Tip Markers (pictured left). These have an 0.8 mm tip and come in six colors. These do not bleed through the page nor do they smear. They are a good backup pen to keep around but my first choice will always be the Staedtler pens because of their bright colors and finer tip.
Planner accessories are so fun because they allow you to customize your daily planner in ways a standard layout just doesn’t allow. Now of course, you don’t HAVE to use planner accessories. You can keep a daily planner just fine without all the bells and whistles. But, if you like to have a little fun with your organizing, planner accessories can be an awesome way to do that.

How pretty! I just have a plain planner. I’ve seen these and should probably upgrade next time!
They are a lot of fun 🙂
I love planners and everything related to stationary and organization! I was debating on an Erin Condren or a Day Designer, but opted for a cheaper planner from Walmart. I never really use it though! Next time, I am definitely going to buy a better one!
