Hello and welcome to my sixth blog income report. This report is REALLY exciting for me because I made over one thousand dollars on the blog this month AND more than doubled my income!

I did all this without my pageviews increasing by very much.

I invested in two courses that have made my amazing progress possible and those are Melyssa Griffen’s Blog to Biz Hive

Michelle Gardner-Schroeder’s e-course Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing.

I completely recommend these courses! I’m so glad I had the foresight to invest in my blog from the beginning because it has ABSOLUTELY paid off in both income and traffic.

Reasons for Posting Blog Income Reports:

Why would I want to post my blog income reports? Well, if it hadn’t been for other bloggers posting their income reports (like Michelle from Making Sense of Cents), I might not have ever started a blog like this.

I’ve blogged in the past but it was purely a personal blog like, “here’s my makeup today” and “this is the club I went to last weekend.” Basically, it wasn’t a “professional” blog. I started this blog with monetization in mind from the get-go. That doesn’t mean I don’t share quality information, I do! In fact, there are a million easier ways to make money than from blogging. I do this because I know I can help people, especially overwhelmed moms, with crafting the life they want and desire through side-income projects and productivity/organization help. I’ve been a mom entrepreneur for the past eight years. I work, I teach at the college level, I’m earning my Ph.D., I co-produce a podcast, and I’m a mom and wife. You could say I’m “doing it all” and I want to help other moms who want to do the same.
As for blogging, I find blogging reports inspiring and very helpful. Even the ones that post low numbers.

  • They show me what is achievable through blogging.
  • They can highlight tools and tricks I may not have thought of.

The reasons I want to post my blog income report:

  1. I want to have a record of my progress.
  2. To keep myself accountable.
  3. To give full disclosure to my readers.
  4. Perhaps I will inspire someone else, as I’ve been inspired by other bloggers.

This is in no way bragging. It’s solely for tracking, inspiration, and accountability.

Blog Traffic November 2016

Pagviews: 29,063

Unique Visitors: 16,885

Traffic in November was only slightly higher than in October. I was so busy with the pre-sale of my signature e-course Productivity Freedom that I didn’t post very many new blog articles. I won’t be able to post many in December either because I’m putting the final touches on the course so that it can go live on December 28th. I’m so excited for those of you who took the leap and bought the course during the early-bird pre-sale. You snagged the course at the lowest price it will EVER be AND you’ll be a part of this incredible journey from the very beginning. I’m telling you, this course is so rad! I’m having so much fun creating it and I can’t wait to share it with you!
If you missed the pre-sale of Productivity Freedom, don’t worry. The cart will open again at the end of this month. Sign up for my newsletter so that you can be the first to know when it goes live.

Social Media Numbers:

Pinterest: 5.4k (up from 4.4k last month)

Twitter: 2,484 (up from 2,448 last month)

Instagram: 934 (up from 930 last month)

Facebook: 235 (up from 194 last month)

I honestly did not do anything to improve my social media numbers this month. The amount of traffic I get from Twitter and Instagram are so minimal that spending any real amount of time on them just doesn’t seem to be a good use of my time right now.

Blog Income:

Adsense : $43.90

Amazon Associates: $239.42

Flex Offers: $20.80

Other Affiliates: $390.00

Productivity Freedom Sales: $400.00

Guest Post: $18.00

Total Gross Income: $1,112.12 (up from $469.41 last month)

I had zero expenses this month. 🙂
